The Superior Board of Trustees has a couple of products slated for its Monday evening meeting, which includes ordinances connected to marijuana delivery, the age to obtain tobacco or nicotine, and airplane noise.
A single of the 1st subjects on the agenda is the age to obtain tobacco or nicotine merchandise.
The board will talk about and vote on amending component of the Superior Municipal Code to make it illegal for any one below age 21 to possess, consume or obtain any tobacco or nicotine item. The subject is in the board’s consent agenda.
Boulder City Council lately raised the age to 21 and Broomfield City Council is taking into consideration raising the age to 21.
The second subject the board will talk about and vote on is connected to the delivery service of marijuana. The board will take into account 3 versions of an ordinance which determines how to address marijuana delivery in the neighborhood.
“Each version of the ordinance addresses the regulation of marijuana delivery differently, with a single prohibiting all marijuana delivery service in Superior, a single permitting delivery of health-related marijuana and health-related marijuana infused merchandise only, and a single permitting delivery of each health-related and retail marijuana and connected marijuana-infused merchandise,” according to the employees report.
On a unique subject, the board also will talk about suggestions that had been created throughout the joint airport noise mitigation consultant meeting Sept. 30.
