More than 20 applications in Randolph County for health-related marijuana facilities

Of much more than two,100 applications for health-related marijuana facilities in Missouri, 21 had been submitted for Randolph County from 16 firms. The Missouri Division of Overall health and Senior Solutions is processing these applications and will score every company to identify who gets a license and who does not.

The division on Wednesday released the statewide list of applicants who filed for the chance to open health-related marijuana firms in the state. The state will also situation the minimum essential 60 cultivation and 86 infused-solution manufacturing licenses, but there are no directives to distribute these all through the state. The state will also license 10 testing laboratories.

The state received two,163 applications of all sorts for the duration of the Aug. two to Aug. 19 window for submissions.

Lori Turk, of Moberly, submitted an application for an infused solution manufacturing facility. She is also requesting a zoning modify from the city for the facility, which will be heard by the Moberly City Council on Monday evening. Turk did not want to comment on the facility till the zoning modify was discussed at the meeting.

In the Fourth Congressional District, which contains all or portions of Audrain, Boone, Cooper, Howard, Moniteau and Randolph counties in Central Missouri, the division received 128 applications for dispensary licenses, 78 applications for cultivation licenses and 46 applications for infused solution manufacturing.

There had been applications from 20 of the 24 counties in the district, with only Dade, Hickory, Moniteau, and St. Clair counties with out applications.

In the central Missouri area:

Audrain County entrepreneurs are searching for a single cultivator, a single dispensary and a single infused solution manufacturer’s license.

Cooper County applicants are searching for six cultivator, 3 dispensary and six infused solution manufacturer licenses.

Howard County company Lit Naturals is searching for to place a developing facility and dispensary in Fayette. Inovatia AgriTesting Solutions, LLC, has filed an application to be a testing laboratory.

Randolph County applicants asked for eight cultivation, 5 infused solution manufacturer and eight dispensary licenses.

All the applications will have to be scored by a contractor hired by the department….
